Ben sat with me for a number of weeks of meetings patiently explaining all the various topics of calculus to me. Often repeating topics with new and various applications or explanations, with a definite focus on the trouble spots that I never mentioned but he knew were there. The class I received tutoring for was a graduate level statistics course (hypothesis tests, confidence intervals, etc). I sought tutoring because I failed an assignment in my class and panicked with a midterm coming up. At the time, I wasn't understanding the concepts in class behind all of the complex formulas, or which to use when, etc. Benjamin helped explain all of the relevant concepts in a way that made sense in the week leading up to the midterm, and I ended up with a perfect score!
